ABOUT

Who I am. I am a skilled and experienced multilingual education professional, learning content developer, and facilitator with experience in designing and developing learning curriculum to drive behavior change among learners. Using my years of experience as an educator, I am adept at addressing the needs gap and identifying learning solutions for a wide variety of learners utilizing Instructor-Led Training (ILT) and Virtual Instructor-Led Training (vILT) modalities. I am dedicated to improving human performance through inclusive and accessible trainings.

My process & approach to solving problems. When I begin the process of designing the learning product, I always empathize with the learners and put them at the center. I start with the needs analysis, identify the performance gaps of a target audience, and whether training will be a solution. I utilize educational design theory, adult learning theory, and the ADDIE and SAM models during designing and developing the learning deliverables. To better understand the learning content, I spend time researching the product to deliver effective training. I use an iterative design approach that includes a prototyping phase to communicate and test out the ideas. In the end, the client gets the user-focused learning solution that meets the audience’s needs.

Tools I use: Articulate Storyline 360, Articulate Rise 360, Microsoft Office, Canva, WellSaid Labs, Vyond, Camtasia, Zoom, and Google Suite. In addition, I easily learn new technologies as they arise.

How I work with people. I build my relationship with peers, clients, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and Stakeholders based on collaboration. I choose the transparent communication style that involves feedback from all parties. By setting communication standards, my client and I can follow the expectations of each party in the development and promote a steady workflow. I thrive on building trust with those I work with to ensure I deliver an end-product that meets the goals of a project. I am also flexible enough to understand that certain circumstances may get in the way. By being flexible and empathetic, I ensure that neither my client or I lose motivation or energy throughout the development process.

What we can accomplish. I go beyond producing courses, exploring all options to customize a solution that fits your audience’s needs, while keeping your business goals at the forefront. When I am not working. I'm an avid explorer who enjoys learning about culture, languages, food and places through connections with locals. I am always up for a new challenge, whether it is hiking a mountain, Tough Mudder competition, traveling to the southern most city in the world - ask me about countries and traveling, or simply 5K race, or fishing. My greatest supporters and motivators in all my life projects and goals are my husband and two adorable sons. We love spending Sundays together by cooking healthy authentic food, playing tennis, boardgames, fishing, or taking road trips.
